Currently all the data is collected by us. We try our best to collect it as correctly and fully as possible. But we recommend checking the website links as well before commiting for a visit. Especially prices and opening times are likely subject to change depending on places, season and etc. 

If happen to see correction needed, the please do let us know here. Also, if interested in adding new places to this map you can help us out and submit data in here.

The map also has “directions” feature, meaning you if find a place to visit (e.g. jumping onsen for a quick dip during travels) then can use this feature to guide you there!

• Current listing: 100 places
• Jumping onsen prices: These prices cover the range from children to adults (i.e. the lower end usually shows the price for kids).
• Overnight prices: The range shows cheapest to highest plan we found at the time of collecting. Example for 2 adults in one room and price for one person. These though can really fluctuate but serve more like a rough estimate.
• Mixed baths: Some places have only mixed baths, but some have an option (e.g. has mixed option but also gender separated options). Though many, if not most, these days are gender separated.
• Tattoos: most places have no info on this but by default they are prohibited in public baths, though private ones should be alright.
